About Us

New Hope for Marketview Heights, Inc. (NH4MVH) is a dynamic community development corporation dedicated to enriching the Marketview Heights neighborhood of Rochester, NY. Established in 2019 and recognized as a public charity under the 501(c)(3) designation, NH4MVH embodies a commitment to community-driven revitalization.

Originating from the New Hope Free Methodist Church, located just south of Marketview Heights, NH4MVH has been actively engaging with local residents to foster collaborative neighborhood enhancement initiatives since its inception.

Throughout our journey, we have partnered with the 5th Street Block Club for Clean Sweep initiatives and Community Cookouts, engaged with leaders at the Lewis Street Neighborhood Center, and contributed volunteer efforts at the Marketview Heights Collective Action Project’s Community Garden on 1st Street.

Attentive to the voices and needs of community stakeholders, NH4MVH was formally institutionalized at the end of 2021. Our organization is a dedicated platform for spearheading impactful projects that aim to sustain and invigorate the neighborhood's future.
